Hi, as you might see now, we have a whole new Website. For starters, I chose a cleaner, custom design, with a heavy emphasis on ease of use and simplicity.
Of the main features of this new website, there is the live feed on the homepage, a featured picture, a quick start guide, and smaller but simpler navigation on the bottom. I hope the new website can become a useful tool on communicating and making Shoebot an accessible platform for building Generative Art pieces, visualizations, and more. On the tech part, I’ve been working on this for a few months, first choosing webby, and then going an arguably simpler path, creating a WordPress theme. The sources of this theme are available on gitorious.org/shoebot/website.
I would not like to forget to mention that this is a work in process, and not only comments, criticisms and above all, recommendations and pull requests, are appreciated, just the same as with the source code of shoebot itself.
